Wellness Program Management
A wellness program manager leads the development, coordination, and delivery of services that cover mental resilience, trauma-reduction, and physical health. This type of role in your organization can unify fragmented offerings, such as peer support or chaplain services, into a standardized, proactive system designed to prepare employees to respond with clarity under stress and return to a relaxed state after their shift. It requires an annual plan, feedback loops with stakeholders, and a combination of mandatory and voluntary services.
-
Teach nervous system regulation skills (activate with total clarity, and deactivate fully)
-
Pre-arranged, coordinated resources for holistic health offerings
-
Gather and analyze metrics to ensure effectiveness and value for budget

Annual Inservice Hours
Schedule all staff/officers to attend, creating baseline knowledge and exposure to an interactive experience. Use current real-life challenges to practice neuro-regulation skills.

Weekly/Monthly Classes
Offer voluntary sessions for ongoing practice and support. Example: yoga class that uses tactical breathwork, physical drills, and guided meditation. Delivered in a job-specific way.

Critical Incident Neuro Reset
Lead a debriefing of the incident, ensuring it ends with a guided neuro-reset practice for participants. Delivered in a way that supports processing stress and PTSD prevention techniques.

Align Existing Training
Incorporate the practice of mental and physical wellness skills into existing daily processes and other trainings. Example: 5 min guided mind-reset at the start of the shift or meetings.
